Your fresh tropical flowers or lei flowers are picked fresh, washed and inspected. They are then carefully wrapped in ti leaves, florist wrap, newspaper, insulation (if needed) and sealed in a tropical flowers box. This is a long box specifically designed for shipping tropical flowers. The box has handling instructions on the outside to alert the courier as to the urgent and special care needed for the package.
We use FedEx to deliver your order direct from our farm to your doorstep. UPS may be used as a backup shipper during busy times or for late arriving orders.
Most items can be shipped as soon as the next business day after an order is placed. Many items can be shipped same day, if we receive your order early enough in the morning, and depending on our schedule.
You can order your gift or party supplies in advance. There is a place on our shopping cart form where you can tell us the exact day you would like the order to arrive. We will determine the appropriate day to ship your package based upon the destination and the shipping method you have chosen.
Once your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking details for your shipment and the link to track the package as it makes it's journey to your door.
Shipments go out on weekdays only for delivery on weekdays only. FedEx will not deliver on weekends or Federal Holidays. FedEx can not deliver to a PO box address.

We offer a variety of different shipping methods so you may better plan the arrival of your shipment.
For leis and flowers, we always recommend the fastest shipping method possible, which is FedEx Express or FedEx Priority shipping.

FedEx Economy Air typically arrives before 7:00pm on the second business day after shipment for all areas.
FedEx Standard Air typically arrives before 4:30pm on the next business day after shipment for west coast areas. It will arrive before 4:30pm on the second business day for all other destinations.
FedEx Priority Air typically arrives before 12:00noon on the next business day after shipment for west coast areas. It will arrive before 12:00pm on the second business day for all other destinations.

To ensure that we keep our prices down, shipping costs are not included per the item, but rather are calculated based upon the weight of the package that will be shipped.
Shipping costs will be added to your final price when you 'check out' in the shopping cart. You will be able to see the multiple shipping options, calculate shipping, and compare prices and options before you give us your payment information or finalize your order.

Most packages weigh about two to four pounds with packaging. This is about 3-10 leis, or one of our flower assortments.

Because our flowers and leis are so hardy and will last a long time after they arrive, we recommend that you have them shipped to arrive a day in advance of the day you will need to use them.
Ali'i Flowers will not be held responsible for shipping delays due to weather, labor disputes, strikes, local service disruption, national service disruption, acts of war, acts of terrorism or regulatory clearance delays. We strongly advise that you schedule your shipment to arrive the day before you will need to use it, to ensure it is in your possession for your special event.
In the event that we are provided with an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, there is a $15.00 charge that will be billed to you after delivery has occurred. Ali'i Flowers will not be held responsible for delivery delays due to incomplete addresses provided by our customers.
In the event that your package is undeliverable as addressed, or refused or sent back under our shipping account for any reason, a $15.00 re-routing fee will be imposed by FedEx and will be charged to your account, as well as the return shipping charge. Once the package has been returned safely to us, in the event that the items are in saleable condition, your account will be credited for those items only. Shipping charges are not refundable. Fresh flowers and leis are not refundable.
Because our fresh flowers and leis are perishable, Ali'i Flowers will not be held responsible for the condition of any shipment that was left without a signature required for delivery.
